Erin joined the staff as assistant research economist in January 2018, but she was no stranger to the Real Estate Center. She had previously written an article on Texas cropland for Tierra Grande magazine. Before joining the Center, Erin was a consultant for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and for a private company specializing in analyzing real estate impacted by environmental contamination. She earned her bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Loyola University in Chicago and her doctorate in agricultural economics from Texas A&M University.
